Let Zion Gardens help you have fabulous, fresh, life-enhancing, organic produce right in your own backyard.  All you need is an area that gets plenty of sunshine and Zion Gardens will take care of the rest!
You will receive a 4 x 10 garden space packed full of fresh produce, all grown from certified organic seeds.  Zion Gardens never uses chemical fertilizers or pesticides; only natural, health-inducing products.  This will give you peace of mind that you are feeding your family the highest quality food that can be found. Now, you too, can grow nutrient-rich, organic food in your own backyard and all you have to do is "just add water"!

I'll come out and survey your potential garden spot first, and together we'll determine where the best area is to plant.  Then I'll dig up the area using the "double digging" method- this is basically turning over the sod and loosening the dirt beneath.  Since we live here in Tennessee and have alot of clay in our soils, I apply lime at this time.  This helps to condition and break up the clay at the subsoil layer.  On top of the turned over sod, I add 3-4 inches of locally made horse manure compost, a layer of worm castings, and a generous sprinkling of greensand.  The greensand comes from the ocean and is full of trace minerals that may be lacking in your soil.  The turned over grass will decompose and feed your soil from underneath while the compost, worm castings and greensand give your garden all the nutrients it needs.  Into this I will plant the organically raised seedlings and seeds.  Next goes on a layer of mulch, and then I put up tomato cages and build any trellises needed.

Now it is your turn- just add water!  Then, watch as your instant garden begins to grow and produce beautiful, healthy food for you and your family.  Now, you too, can experience the satisfaction and joy of growing a garden without all the work.  Let Zion Gardens do it for you!  You get all of this, plus watering and harvesting tips, and even recipes to learn how to use your ripe produce for the modest price of $249.99.

*Quantities are limited due to the availability of plants, so sign up early for your choice of garden.

*Fall gardens will also be available, with a second chance to grow everything that can be grown in the spring garden.  Fall grown produce is generally sweeter than spring grown due to the frosts later in the year.  These are generally planted late Aug./early Sept., but can be planted later depending on the weather.

Cover Crops are a very important fall grown crop and I highly recommend planting one after your summer produce has dwindled.  These are typically planted in Sept. or even Oct.  Go to my cover crop page for more info on these.

**If you would like to do more than one garden per year, such as a spring and summer garden, or all three to maximize your growing time, we will need to dig two beds.  Each bed when it is first started will be at the special price of $199.99 if you sign up early.  After that, each garden you decide to plant will be offered to you at a 1/2 price discount.  For example, if you want a spring and summer garden, we'll make a separate bed for each one with their own plants and seeds.  Each one will cost $199.99.  Then if you choose to do a fall garden, that one will only cost $99.00, since all of the digging  is already done and all soil amendments have been added.  And again, the following spring if you decide to garden with me again, you will get the 1/2 price discount on any gardens you want to plant that year. If you decide you want to garden on your own once I get you started, you can purchase the organic plants and seeds for your future gardens from Zion Gardens if you like.  Of course, you can always purchase plants and seeds from Zion Gardens anytime.

I would love to help you have a beautiful, productive organic garden this year, as well as to try to answer any questions you might have about organic gardening.  We can work together to make this the best gardening season ever!  Happy Gardening!!
